Brand new out of the box fab spec laptop and it won't load for me. I've never been able to get anything to work on demand. Gutted cause i heart H!

Channel 5 - The best shows, the worst online service! You would think that with the amount of people complaining about freezing all the time, they would have sorted it out. Never have any problems with other playback sites, just this one. I cant see how doing a disk cleanup or defrag will help in this situation. Yes will make your PC work better, but wont affect the video because its a site error. The fact that other playback sites work perfect, even in HD, and this site cant even play through the adverts without them occasionally freezing, or play more than minute of a show without it freezing, and th fact that so many people are getting issues with it, suggests it IS a site issue. Channel 5 please, for goodness sakes! SORT IT OUT PLEASE!!!

Wednesday 8th August and the video stil isn't playing properly. I had to reload, watch the commercials, and fin where it froze 5 times. What a bore.

had problem kept stopping then froze. i pressed f5 went back to beginnig i then moved it on to were it froze and watched till end with no problems.

iv tried the defragmenting thig and it hasnt made a difference and mozilla keeps closing and i either have to restart it or reopen a tab to you have any tricks for orting any of this out Hystersister????

I tried to watch the whole episode even though it kept stopping just to see how long it will take to watch the whole thing. 3 hours! No interruption during advert. Yes I persisted the whole 3 hours!

Really dissappoionted...Not playeing at all! was looking forward to sitting down and enjoying the episode after a hard weekend of decorating and landscaping...this keeps happening with Demand5...very upset!

Freezing issues? Try doing a disk clean-up & a defrag (Start Menu>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Clean-up. Tick all the boxes & press ok. Wait until that program ends then go back through the same menu route (Start>etc)& hit Defragment Disk instead of Disk Clean-up> highlight the C drive> press Defragment Disk. You might have to do it a few times & each time may take up to 2hrs especially if this is the first time you're doing it. If you're using any version of Windows the both these tools are already in the start menu - you don't have to download anything. If you can't be arsed to do a defrag, just the disk clean-up may work - the object here is to dump your temp file cache so you can watch 5OD. Though saying that...not doing a disk clean-up/defrag on a weekly/monthly basis when using windows is akin to expecting your car to work fine with a clogged up oil filter & believe it or not....it's usually the first thing techs, like myself, do when you bring your 'slow' laptop into the shop. And then we charge you 75 quid...

I am so sick and tired of stopping the video only to have to endure even more commercials. Not only does this video stop around 1.55 but the viewer must endure commercial after commercial simply because the viewer needed to stop it to take a piss.
